Technology selection always depends on your app’s requirements, if it is simple data driven app where performance is not much critical or if it requires widest platform support or if it is simple graphical app then you can go for PhoneGap.

If you app requires high performance similar to a native technology, native UI and maximum device features required with multiple platform support then go for Titanium.

On November 14th 2011, Nidhi (Director – Engineering) conducted a workshop on Mobile Apps Development over Adobe AIR platform at CIIE IIM, Ahmedabad. The workshop involved a complete overview of Adobe AIR as upcoming mobile apps development platform, reasons behind the quick acceptance by developer community for AIR, future of Adobe AIR as mobile apps development platform etc.

The workshop also covered an overview of Adobe Flash Platform (Flex, AIR, Flash), Flash Builder IDE and advantages of choosing Adobe AIR for mobile apps development. The workshop involves developing a simple mobile app using Flash Builder. It also covered packaging apps for Apple iOS, Google Android and BalckBerry Tables OS devices.

The workshop was attended by 30+ participants and received very good feedback from all of the participants.

Last two days has been really busy for Rightway Solution at Adobe Max Expo 2011. We are exhibiting our Web, AIR & Mobile apps development work over Adobe Flash Platform as well as our product “Design’n’Buy” and Matiredee360. People showed keen interest in our services and products and liked the work we do on Adobe Flash Platform. It was fun & enjoyable experience talking to the designers, developers, business decision makers and industry experts over their experience & expectations from Adobe platform.

It was a grand opening for Adobe Max.

Adobe Max kicked off with an impressive keynote by Adobe CTO Kevin Lynch. Kevin announced the new developments for Adobe creative community, the major ones being Adobe Creative Cloud, Adobe Touch Apps and Adobe Digital Publishing Suite Single Edition.

With Adobe Creative Cloud, you can stay connected to your creative files anywhere with ability to collaborate with each other. Adobe Touch apps would really enable creatives to work anywhere with their tablets and utilize hosted cloud-based services to share files, view them across devices or transfer work into Adobe Creative Suite software. While Adobe Digital Publishing Suite Single Edition is an ideal fit for freelance designers, small businesses and design firms who need to publish content created with InDesign to the Apple iPad without having to write a single line of code.

Then started the most awaited series of sessions, labs, table talks and unconferences on all topics of latest interests. A huge gathering of participants flocked the community pavilion and took active interest in the happenings on the ground. A sneak peek into the future of Adobe platform took everyone by surprise and built grand hopes to get more powerful tools and technologies for enhanced design & development experience.

Our executive team has reached LA for exhibiting at Adobe Max. During this visit we have also targeted to visit many of our clients and prospects and strengthen the mutual business tie-ups. In that aspect, we first met one of our eminent client team in Reno, Navada. They received Rakesh with full heartedness and everyone enjoyed the get together. The meeting started with the discussion on the next phase of the project for the client and everybody felt that having discussed it face-to-face has significantly reduced the efforts in translation of requirements to the actual development plan.

This visit definitely helped us in better understanding our clients and getting a chance to know them personally. We are confident that our meetings with clients are sure to strengthen our business relationships and win over their trust.

Rightway team reached LA with full preparations for exhibiting at Adobe Max. What a city it is? Mesmerizing, enchanting & beautiful. We are staying in downtown very near to the LA convention center and could feel the energetic vibes of the city. The climate is also very good, sunny in the afternoon & cool in night.

We are all set and got over the jetlag within last 2 days. Now, only thing we are waiting for is the show to open. World…we are coming there!
